Hello everyone! Welcome back to our Year 6 celebration! And today each member of our design team shows the top of her favorite products. Are you excited? It’s going to be a big, big post packed with tons of inspiration so let’s get right to it.
My first card featuring absolutely cosmic Moon and Stars set. It will take me forever to tell how much I like the theme of space, I can even publish a book;) I truly love everything connected with galaxies, stars and universe that I can ink or watercolor for hours. As it says – just gimme and I won’t dissapoint;)
I took watercolor paper and, using Gansai Tambi and White Nights, splashed with white, golden and silver paint to bring flickers. Cut out the moon and stars with Moon & Stars Panel Die using glittered paper.
Make the place for shaker with foam tape and filled it with sequins. Put the sheet of transparent plastic and the frame of dark blue cardstock above. Added sentiment and stars.
The second place in my top after space is taken by die cut Words. Awww, I like this elements, it’s so various and versatile. That’s why Oversized Love Combo is my number 2. I’ve described how I made this cards here. But I can say, I’m still proud of the result.
Another item in second place is Outline Love Combo. It was love at first sight. Actually, it’s multifunctional set. I invent a lot of different options with it, and there will be a lot to invent in future. I’m sure this set will make me happy and inspire for a long time. Saying about description, you can find it here and here.
The third place is taken by flowers. Yeah, it’s another topic of my delight;) I adore to work with flowers, to color it, it’s some kind of magic for me. Here I would like to highlight 2 sets – Tulips stamp set (making-of video by the card of grey cardstock HERE, making-of description of card with mice HERE) and Potted Lily stamp set (making-of description of card HERE)
The fourth place in my top is taken by Around the world collection stamps! Here I have two favorite sets
The first is the Bonjour Stamp Set. I like it a lot and I decided to make diorama with it. For the start I stamped the cute images from this set. Colored with copic markers and die cut them with coordinating dies.
Next, I blended some distress inks onto white piece of paper. Another 3 white pieces of paper I die cut with Additional Ovals Die.
This 3 panels had next dimensions: 13.6 x 16.6, 13.6 x 14.6 and 13.6 x 12.6. Panels scored at 3 and 13.6; 2 and 12.6; 1 and 11.6 accordingly and the flaps are glued together after the overlap. Then I die cut windows in decreasing size in the center of each to get more of a tunneled-look to my card. (All dimensions are in cm.)
Placed all the elements on the white paper panels using double-sided foam tape. Heat embossed the sentiment from Bonjour Stamp Set stamp set using white powder.
Thank you so much for join me today have a great day!
